Stunning guitar, no question, but I want to know more about these leaves on the fingerboard. Leaves look like white oak, complete with veining -- how did you do that with koa? Really a very striking effect.

Tim, I used the sapwood and lighter colored pieces of some Koa I had laying around, along with a little bit of myrtle wood. I used actual pictures of falling leaves that I traced onto the wood and then scribed the veins and filled the vein channels with black superglue. It was actually pretty straight forward.
